Manny Ruiz is the co-managing partner and founder of Hispanic
Market Pro (HMP).
A pioneer in the Hispanic communications services industry,
Manny is also the President and CEO of Hispanic PR Wire and a
senior partner of Hispanic Digital Network, the nation’s first
network of Hispanic publications online, LatinClips, a leading
U.S. Hispanic and Latin American monitoring service and ConTexto
Latino, the industry’s only Hispanic editorial features service.
Prior to founding HPRW, Manny’s professional communications
career spanned the fields of public relations, journalism and
photography. He was a co-founder, media relations director and
chief media trainer of the National Hispanic Market Practice of
Porter Novelli (PN) public relations, one of the world’s leading
PR firms. While at Porter Novelli, Manny also played a central
role in the execution and success of the state of Florida’s, anti-tobacco,
“truth” campaign, an effort which won nearly all of the PR industry’s
most coveted awards including the Silver Anvil Award of Excellence,
the CIPRA and PR Week’s Healthcare Campaign of the Year. Prior
to his career in Public Relations, Manny spent three years as
a part-time crime desk reporter for The Miami Herald. While at
The Herald, Manny participated in the newspaper’s team coverage
of Hurricane Andrew, which won the Pulitzer Prize for Public Service
in 1993.
Manny is a former board member of Public Relation Society of America’s
(PRSA) Miami Chapter and is the former co-chair of its Hispanic
Market Section. He is currently a co-chair of the PRSA national
diversity committee. Manny is a native Miamian of Cuban-descent.

Natalia
A. Flores, APR is the managing director of Hispanic Market Pro
(HMP) and is responsible for managing the presentations, operations
and marketing of HMP, which include monthly national educational
teleseminars for advertising and public relations executives on
reaching the burgeoning Hispanic market. In addition to this role,
she is the corporate communications manager for Hispanic PR Wire,
Inc. In her new role, she is responsible for managing and directing
the marketing and public relations strategies for Hispanic PR
Wire, Inc and sister companies LatinClips, Hispanic Digital Network,
ConTexto Latino and Hispanic Market Pro.
Flores has public relations experience with local, national and
international communications outreach as well as event planning
and coordination while working for top-notch global agencies Burson-Marsteller
and Porter Novelli in Florida. She has developed communications
plans for key clients including MasterCard, Office Depot, KGI
Consumer Products, Batanga, Symmet Spa and the 4th Annual Latin
GRAMMY Awards, and has worked with various telecommunication clients
including Cisco, NII Holdings (formerly Nextel International),
Qualcomm, UTStarcom and SAP. In addition, Flores was previously
the communications manager at The Wolfsonian-Florida International
University and spearheaded communications strategies for the museum's
key audiences, including its members, media and the general public
during the institution's 10th anniversary.
She has worked on award-winning campaigns including the 4th Annual
Latin GRAMMY Awards show in Miami and a strategic financial restructuring
communications campaign for NII Holdings, which have garnered
accolades and honorable mentions from PRSA Silver Anvil, PRWEEK,
SABRE, Bulldog Reporter, and The Association for Women in Communications'
Clarion Awards.
A native of Argentina, she is a graduate from Florida International
University's School of Journalism and Mass Communication in Miami.
In 2004, she was named a PRWEEK Awards Young PR Professional finalist.
She is currently the president of the Miami chapter of the Public
Relations Society of America (PRSA) with 200 members and the largest
scholarship fund in the nation and has recently received accreditation
in public relations.
